Factsheet for professionals in hospitals and other healthcare settings

Factsheet provides the latest available scientific evidence about antibiotic resistance that is relevant to hospitals: e.g. antibiotic resistance is increasing overall, bacteria that are resistant to multiple group of antibiotics is of particular concern, and antibiotic stewardship programmes are effective.

Three versions of the factsheet are available: one is condensed in one page and includes only facts, another one includes a map which highlights the effectiveness of antibiotic stewardship programmes in some EU countries, and a last one provides the possibility to include national facts.
