European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) partners with a number of EU professional and patient organisation with an interest on prudent use of antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance. Since 2008, when EAAD started, the support of these organisations has been pivotal for the success of the initiative.

Council of European Dentists (CED)
The Council of European Dentists (CED) is a European not-for-profit association which represents over 340,000 dental practitioners across Europe through 33 national dental associations and chambers in 31 European countries. Established in 1961 to advise the European Commission on matters relating to the dental profession, the CED key objectives are to promote high standards of oral healthcare and dentistry and effective patient-safety centred professional practice.
EUROCAM is a foundation uniting European organisations representing CAM patients and trained CAM health professionals, including medical doctors, veterinarians and other practitioners. The aim of EUROCAM is to promote the contribution of CAM - Complementary and Alternative Medicine - to better health in Europe.
ESCMID Study Group for Antimicrobial Stewardship (ESGAP)

International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS)
ICARS’ mission is to support low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in their efforts to reduce drug-resistant infections through close partnerships with LMIC ministries. ICARS co-develop interventions, which provide evidence for context-specific and cost-effective solutions to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) that are fit for sustainable scale-up. Through provision of funding and expertise, ICARS supports Intervention and Implementation Research projects across the One Health spectrum to support countries AMR National Action Plans (NAP).
