L’ECDC coopère étroitement avec les agences de l’UE telles que l’Autorité européenne de sécurité des aliments (EFSA), l’Agence européenne des médicaments (EMA) et l’Agence européenne pour l’environnement (AEE) dans le cadre de la Journée européenne d’information sur les antibiotiques. L’ECDC participe également au groupe de travail transatlantique sur la résistance aux antimicrobiens (TATFAR) et entretient des liens étroits avec l’action commune de l’UE sur la résistance aux antimicrobiens et les infections associées aux soins de santé.
