EU-byråer og internasjonalt samarbeid
ECDC samarbeider tett med EU-byråer som Den europeiske myndighet for næringsmiddeltrygghet (EFSA), Det europeiske legemiddelbyrå (EMA) og Det europeiske miljøbyrå (EEA) om Den europeiske antibiotikadagen. ECDC deltar også i den transatlantiske arbeidsgruppen for antimikrobiell resistens (TATFAR) og har tett kontakt med EUs fellestiltak mot antimikrobiell resistens og sykehusinfeksjoner.

TATFAR was created in 2009 to improve cooperation between the U.S. and the European Union to reduce the threat of antibiotic resistant (AR) germs.
