Sóttvarnastofnun Evrópu vinnur náið með Evrópustofnunum eins og Matvælaöryggisstofnun Evrópu (EFSA), Lyfjastofnun Evrópu (EMA) og Umhverfisstofnun Evrópu (EEA) að Evrópska vitundardeginum um sýklalyf. Sóttvarnastofnun Evrópu tekur einnig þátt í Atlantshafsstarfshópnum um þol gegn sýkingalyfjum (TATFAR) og er í nánu sambandi við Sameiginlegar aðgerðir Evrópusambandsins varðandi þol gegn sýkingalyfjum og sýkingar sem tengjast heilbrigðisþjónustu.
